<p>Tough choices had to be made with the arrival of two additional clubs, the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants, with each franchise being ordered to release the bulk of its rosters while keeping a maximum of four players.</p>

<p>The spinner, who played for the team in 113 games and took 138 wickets at an economy rate of 7.5, was one of their key performers.</p>
<p>His record was particularly outstanding when you consider that his IPL home field was the batting-friendly M Chinnaswamy stadium.</p>
<p>Two seasons have passed since the debut of RCB. During a podcast by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia, Chahal discussed his decision to leave the franchise.</p>
<p>I spent eight years playing there. Because they gave me an opportunity to succeed, RCB essentially handed me the India cap. Virat Bhaiya earned my confidence right away during the first game. As a result, it hurt because after eight years with a team, you nearly feel like family. There were several rumors that I demanded a large sum of money. At the time, I made it clear that there was nothing comparable. I am aware of what I merit, remarked Chahal.</p>
<p>He also asserts that the administration remained silent, despite the fact that he had participated in more than a hundred games for the team and that this was to be anticipated.</p>
<p>“I felt awful that there was no phone call or other kind of contact. At the very least, discuss. I had participated in 114 games for them, Chahal said.</p>
<p>I was assured they would go above and above for me at the auction. I said, okay. I was quite upset when I wasn’t picked up there. I gave them eight years. My favorite field was Chinnaswamy. The RCB coaches and I did not speak. I didn’t speak to anybody during the first game I played against them, he continued.</p>
<p>Chahal also said how the auction is a highly unexpected setting and how he has come to terms with what happened.</p>
<p>Chahal said that while he remains devoted to the team and the RCB supporters, his move to the Rajasthan Royals has benefited him in terms of his cricket.</p>
<p>In his RCB days, Chahal said, he would complete his allotted number of overs by the 16th over. He is now being employed in RR as a death bowler, which is entirely new to him.</p>
