The Gulbarga Mystics gave the Mysore Warriors the opportunity to bat, but they quickly lost a wicket when opener CA Karthik (13) was bowled by the hot Abhilash Shetty in the third over.

However, Ravikumar Samarth (48), who helped the club to a respectable score of 48-1 at the conclusion of the powerplay, scored a lot of runs.

Samarth and Mysuru Warriors captain Karun Nair accelerated the innings together at No. 3 to get the team total to 85-1 at the midway point. Before Samarth was dismissed for 48 runs off of 38 balls by seasoned leg-spinner Amit Verma, the pair had scored 91 runs off of 62 balls for the second wicket.

Nair maintained his outstanding performance and made the most of the extra life he was given earlier in the innings due to a mishandled stumping. In 33 balls, he reached the half-century mark for the second time in a row.

After moving up to the number four position, Jagadeesha Suchith (17) promptly struck a couple of sixes before becoming Abhilash Shetty’s second victim of the evening due to a stunning catch made by Macneil Noronha at deep mid-wicket.

At the conclusion of the 16th over, the score was 140-4, and Karun Nair was out in the next over after scoring 57 runs off of 39 balls. In order to lead the side to a total score of 198-5, Manoj Bhandage (32 not out off 15 balls) and Shivkumar Rakshith (21 off 8 balls) often found the boundary. The best bowler for Gulbarga, Abhilash Shetty, finished with stats of 3/49.

In response, the Gulbarga Mystics had little issue scoring runs quickly thanks to the opening pair of LR Chethan (44 off 35 balls) and Aadarsh Prajwal (16), who combined for 48 runs before the latter was bowled by CA Karthik in the fifth over. KV Aneesh failed in his effort to loft Mysore’s Impact Player Shreesha Achar on the last ball of the powerplay, leaving the score at 57-2.

Before the latter was bowled in the eleventh over by a bouncer from bowler Monish Reddy, southpaw R Smaran (15) and LR Chethan kept the scoreboard moving by combining singles with crucial boundaries. The following over saw Smaran dismissed by M Venkatesh, putting Gulbarga in trouble at 88-4. In the sixteenth over, just as Macneil Noronha (20) seemed to be quickening the tempo of the innings, he was caught behind by left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith.

In the sixteenth over, pacer Manoj Bhandage took out Amit Verma (seven), D Avinash (nine), and Sourabh Muttur (1).

The equation appeared unlikely given that the remaining four overs would need to produce 73 runs. The captain of Gulbarga, Vyshak Vijaykumar, was bowled by Bhandage in the 18th over, and Hardik Raj was bowled by off-spinner Shashi Kumar K in the following over, giving Mysuru a 54-run victory. In 19 overs, the Gulbarga Mystics reached 144/10.

Brief ratings:
