<p>The Great Indian Family barely brought in Rs 1.80 crore on day 2, according to the website Sacnilk’s first calculations. The film made a meager Rs 1.4 crore on day 1 of its release, bringing its overall box office haul to Rs 3.20 crore.</p>
<p>The main character in “The Great Indian Family” is Bhajan Kumar, a pious man like his family who performs devotional songs. Bhajan learns that he is not his parents’ biological kid and that his family is Muslim. His connection with his family shifts, upending his whole world.</p>
<p>Vicky was questioned about the practice of affluent actors portraying middle-class characters in order to avoid criticism in an interview with Instant Bollywood. “I don’t believe so, no. I have a lot of business acquaintances. The problem right now is that it’s transparent to the audience. How long can you maintain the façade? A day? 2 days? every four weeks? Additionally, it is a really exhausting procedure, he said.</p>
<p>“They hate it when you pretend to be someone you’re not,” he said. Nobody will have (any problems) if you are genuine to yourself and show that. That is what I think. As a viewer, I can always identify with it. I don’t consider if a person is really middle class. You can’t connect to someone if they’re not sincere, even if they’re middle class.</p>
