<p>The second edition of the Legends Cricket Trophy (LCT), which is scheduled to begin on March 8, will see retired international players turning back time, captivating cricket fans for the next ten or so days. Up to seven teams are competing in the competition, and until March 19, a total of 22 matches will be held in Kandy, Sri Lanka. <p>Notably, the tournament will be contested in the 90-ball format this year instead of the T20 format, similar to the Hundred. In an inning, each side will play ninety balls. The Legends Cricket Trophy’s second edition will begin on March 8 (Friday) at 7 PM IST with a match between the Dubai Giants and the New York Super Strikers.</p>
<p>Former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Robin Uthappa have been nominated captains of several sides, while a star-studded field of players like Chris Gayle and Aaron Finch will also compete.
