I CAN’T STOP THE WAVES, BUT I CAN LEARN HOW TO SURF. That’s what I’ve learnt from my life. I’m Anuja Zaveri, a very high-spirited, profound , and an optimistic soul. The first battle I fought was the battle of fat. I was interviewed by the “Health and Nutrition” magazine for losing 30 kgs in 8 months. It hit me hard when I saw I weighed 92 kgs and decided to just give my best. I followed a healthy life by eating right and working out. I’m passionate about travelling to different countries and exploring different cultures. Known as a multitasker, I am a Jewellery Designer, Makeup Artist, and a Fashion Stylist by degree. Makeup is my passion. As a child, I was in love with paints and colours, and they would always draw my attention. Eventually, my love for paint brushes turned into makeup brushes, and painting on paper turned into painting on faces. Makeup helps me release stress. It’s my way of escaping into my own little world.

I’m a trained Bharatnatyam dancer for 6 years, and hence music and dance keep me going. Getting married at a tender age demanded me to leave my dreams, education, passion, and self-worth, prioritizing and focusing on being a warm homemaker. This transformed me into a brilliant cook and a mother of two by choice. Wanting to see happy brides led me to become an entrepreneur, and hence, I started my own firm “Urbhan Diva” in 2018, where I created beautiful lehengas and drape sarees for stunning brides.

I still felt empty and continued to find a deeper purpose in life. I wanted to motivate other women, and my passion for makeup and fashion kept the fire burning in me. I decided to get into the pageant industry because these platforms require multiple talents working together. Hence, it appeals to me the most, as I get to showcase my multiple passions and talents on one platform. Coming from a society that does not support the pageant industry was tough. Not being accepted and being judged by the near and dear ones hit me hard. I decided to be true to myself and never stopped believing in who I was because I was comfortable and happy with the unique me. Everytime, I felt like all the doors were closing on me, I knew that there would be one door that God would leave open for me, and I decided to find that door, which led to a few family members and friends who stood by me no matter what. The right people loved me and respected me throughout. I used my challenges as fuel to fire me up, and that’s when my achievements began.

I would  take pride as I mention that I’m a proud 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐞, 𝐌𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

I’m a title holder of “The Real Superwoman 2021″ in the Multi Talent category. I am an Awardee at The 96th All India Achievers Conference; The India/ International HALL OF FAME AWARDS, “Top 25 India Fame Awards” as a Makeup and Fashion Influencer 2021, “Perfect Woman Achiever’s Award” as the Most Inspiring Woman, Queen’s League Golden Award by the Panache Runway and more.

I have been interviewed and featured in well-known magazines and papers and coffee table books like MidDay, Films Today, Health n Nutrition, Perfect Woman, E Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine, 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 as 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝟓𝟎 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐀 in the Book-𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡 “𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘁𝗼 𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗻”

I have also been a digital Covergirl for the “Perfect Woman Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine” and have been interviewed for the same and more.

I am a Fashion Model and have walked for shows like Bombay Times Fashion Week and MidDay.

My journey has been full of growth, I must say. Nothing comes easy, and that’s what I firmly believe. One must hold through every odd, not giving up and believing in themselves, and that’s exactly what I’ve done. Being true to who we are is what really matters. I believe in the quote, “Go where you grow.” For once I stopped worrying about what I had to lose, and started to believe in what I would gain, because I believe that “You are the artist of your life, don’t hand the brush to anyone else.” Paint your own story.

I think the quote, “Some days she’s a warrior, some days she’s a broken mess. Most of the days, she’s a bit of both, but every day, she’s there.” Describes me perfectly. Hence, I believe you must show up each day, come what may. I take utmost interest in anything and everything I do. I feel, I have very little time and a lot to do, and I want to do it all, no matter what.

The want to grow and do something has been fulfilling flawlessly as I chose to have a little courage over the confidence. I just believe in “keep doing,” “going with the flow,” and “leaving the rest to the universe.” I feel abundant. I am spiritual because I believe in humanity and the working of the universe. I choose good karma over dharma. I have seen miracles, and I am a Krishna conscious soul. Gratitude is my go-to motto in life, and I think every setback should be seen as a rebirth. I believe in the quote “Be You, Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful and Own Who You Are.”

I continue my journey as a Social Influencer, encouraging and supporting women, social causes at schools, colleges, and social community events
